Anne Dorko is a queer musical artist known for taking significant life risks to pursue self-development and discovery. Anne quips that they collect once-in-a-lifetime experiences like playing cards, though sometimes questions at what cost. Their most notable adventures include a 7-month 48-state road trip, a 9-month world tour including a stay at Le Meurice, earning open water diver certification in the Great Barrier Reef, solo bicycle touring from San Diego to Salt Lake City in 30 days, and moving to Germany for love without knowing the language.
Anne grew up in a conservative Christian home as one of nine children. Anne had to balance a diagnosis of severe anxiety and depression alongside their siblings’ intensive mental health issues from a young age. Thankfully, Anne had music from the start, having requested violin lessons for their third birthday and pursuing music and the arts ever since. Music served as an invaluable tool while processing their queer repression into young adulthood before coming into their own.
Anne has always shown an entrepreneurial spirit with an affinity for socially-oriented projects. Whether helping small business owners figure out the internet — or making music, creating resources, and cultivating communities for those who need an uplifting environment, Anne helps people realize and pursue their best selves.
